Dreaming and Challenging What We Know
Proxima Centauri is the nearest star to our galaxy and has for a century provided a fertile ground for the most ambitious investigations and the wildest dreams.
But why exactly? Because the two “suns” of this constellation offer scientists the hope that there might be “alien earths” gravitating around these stars – under similar conditions to our own. Have you never dreamt, when gazing at the sky of a clear night, of being able to reach out and touch those stars or constellations? Have you never thought that maybe, on the other side of the galaxy, another living being was looking back at you?
Every day, astronomers question their own research and challenge themselves to advance even further towards the crazy dream of discovering the unknown. This unknown is ultimately the colossal sum of everything that we have yet to learn! Like in Astronomy, IT discoveries are made by advancing and progressing, by uncovering new territory, and through a commitment to technical testing in order to enrich knowledge.

Return to Earth
“The Centauri Step” could perhaps be translated into French as “La Démarche Centauri”. This is a constant requirement for discovering new fields and testing solutions, with risk taking but also (often) very down-to-earth calculations. Passionate about this constellation of challenges, I work on my own in Security consulting and learn new lessons every day. The approach is more important than the goal
The Centauri Step is a consulting company that offers tools to understand the challenges of IT and in particular Information Security. But keeping in mind the protection of knowledge, privacy, exchanges and freedom.
The Centauri Step is a commitment to questioning. The articles on this site are intended to help you discover the field experience of the experts who are part of this adventure, which I will put forward in order to link both the operational and the theoretical.
4.2 light years from Earth, who knows if man will ever visit the exoterrestrials?
Who knows what computer technology will offer the people of tomorrow’s world? To take part in this movement is to take part in an adventure of daily discoveries.
Welcome aboard and see you soon!
